- A stone's throw from Monaco and 200 metres from the Cap d'Ail train station, the Les Camélias villa, a beautiful 'Belle Époque' building, houses a private museum dedicated to the history of Cap d'Ail and to Basque painter Ramiro Arrue.
The Villa of Les Camélias is a Belle Epoque residence, enclosed in a garden of age-old essences. The garden level is given over to the history of a medieval French Riviera town, with many black and white photos of its prestigious hosts and its inhabitants. An exhibition of the Basque painter Ramiro Arrue (1892-1971) is on display in the two upper levels. Programme at www.villalescamelias.com - One museum admission per Pass.
