Discover two museums in Lucéram, including the nativity Museum, unique in the region.
In an authentic setting, from the humblest to the most sophisticated, over 150 works are exhibited at the Nativity Museum. Among other things, you'll discover the wonderful and very moving Neapolitan collection nativity scene, a reconstruction of a Lucéram district, nativity scenes from around the world, and modern nativities. You'll be won over by the "Cougourdon wall" and the unusual nativity scenes. Created inside the former Chapel of Saint-Jean [Saint John], in a narrow street in the upper village, the old tools and local history museum houses an exceptional collection of tools and domestic items from long ago. All the agricultural and craft activities are shown by theme: vines and wine, olive trees and oil, lavender and distillation, working the earth and harvests, wood and even livestock rearing, hunting or cookery.
